Police paste proclamation notices on walls of houses of 4 murder case accused

Ara : Bhojpur police, on the direction of the court, pasted ‘Ishtehar’(proclamation notices) on the walls of the houses of four absconding murder case accused : Nirala Bahadur Singh, Gajendra Singh, Bijyendra Singh and Upendra Singh, at village Tetariya under Udwantnagar police station on January 30, 2019, evening, and also informed their family members about it.

Some armed miscreants had shot dead a land broker and Hotel owner Lakhichand Yadav, 45, at village Tetariya on December 18, 2018, and escaped. A named FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station against eight persons on the statement of  deceased’s son Ridu Kumar.

Police arrested two named accused: Mannu Singh and Sudhir Singh, along with firearms and live cartridges while two other named accused Rahul Kumar and Aditya Kumar had surrendered before the court and were sent to the jail under judicial custody. But, Nirala Bahadur Singh, Gajendra Singh, Bijyendra Singh, and Upendra Singh, are still absconding. Police prayed the court to issue order to paste Ishtehar on the walls of their houses at their native village. The court issued the order.

SI, Suresh Singh, who led the police team for pasting Ishtehar, said that if the absconders do not surrender, police would pray the court to issue warrant for their property attachment.
