Ara : A man shot at and injured a middle age farmer Nanhaku Mahto at village Eyar under Agiao Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district on January 31, 2019, and escaped.
The injured was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara, where the doctors referred him toPatna Medical College and Hospital in view of his critical condition. A named FIR has been lodged with police against Pankaj Kumar of the village on the statement of the deceased’s son Jitendra Kumar but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO, Agiao Bazaar police station, said that Jawahar Singh, 55, son of Nanhaku Mahto, was taking rest at the terrace of his house at village Eyar village on January 31 , 2019, when his neighbour Pankaj Kumar came and shot at him and escaped from the scene.
