SM, Piro Railway Station, suspended

Ara : Station Master (SM) on duty, Piro railway station, Shiv Ji Prasad, was suspended with immediate effect on January 29, 2019, for dereliction of duty.

On January 26, 2019, Patna-Bhabua Intercity train was standing at Piro railway station when Sasaram-Patna passenger train came on the same track though alertness on the part of the driver of the passenger train averted a major accident. But, the railway administration took serious note of the incident and suspended the SM on duty and also ordered an inquiry in the matter.
