Patna : West Indies captain and fast bowler Jason Holder, 27, scored an unbeaten 202 in 229 balls with 23 fours and 8 sixes, his maiden test double century, while wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich, 27,  hit an unbeaten 116 in 224 balls with 11 four an a six, his 3rd test century, as West Indies declared their second innings at 415/6 in 103.1 overs on day of the 1st test against England at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados, on January 25, 2019. This was Holder’s 3rd test century. He has also taken 88 wickets in his 36 test career.

Set a target of 628 runs, England were 56/0 in 20 overs in their second innings at stumps on day 3 with openers Rory Burns and Keaton Jennings batting on 39 and 11 runs respectively. No wicket fell on day 3 compared to 18 on day 2. West Indies had scored 289 runs in their first innings while England were all out for a paltry 77 in their first innings.
