Sitamarhi : Five unidentified criminals riding two motorbikes shot dead a trader Vivek Jaiswal, 35, at village Gopalpur Kothia under Suppi police station in Sitamarhi district in board daylight on January 23, 2019.
The criminals called Vivek out from his house and attacked him with daggers and when he started fleeing away, they fired several rounds from their pistols on him. He fell down and died on the spot. Villagers suspect that the incident could be fallout of gang war. The deceased allegedly had links with Santosh Jha gang. But after assassination of Santosh Jha, Vivek Jaiswal was running a readymade garments shop. Police said investigation is underway to nab the criminals.
