Ara : A teenage girl died at village Narbirpur under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district under mysterious circumstances on January 8, 2019, night. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for postmortem. A named FIR has been lodged with Chandi police station in this connection but police are yet to arrest the accused.
SHO, Chandi police station, Dhananjay Kumar Singh, said that some youth of Narbirpur had teased a teenage girl when she was taking meal for her uncle on January 7, 2019, evening, and also tried to kidnap her but the aunt of the girl saw them after which they fled away. The girl, on her return, informed her family members about her ordeal and on January 8 night, she was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The deceased was a student of class VIII.
Sources said that Pappu along with his friends teased the girl and tried to kidnap her. Pappu smoked Ganja with Sanjay, Madayi, and Jadi, at the village and teased girls of the village. The family members of the deceased had objected to their smoking ganja near their house and the youth are suspected to have taken revenge.
