Patna : Ganesh Kumar, a 2000 batch IPS officer, was on December 18, 2018, appointed as IG ( Provision), Bihar. He was awaiting for posting. Rakesh Rathi, a 2002 batch IPS officer also waiting for posting, has been appointed as DIG, Shahabad Range, Dehri-on-Sone. Abhinav Kumar, a 2009 batch IPS officer waiting for posting, has been appointed as Assistant to IG, Rail, Bihar.
Ashish Bharti, SSP, Bhagalpur, and a 2011 batch IPS officer, has been given additional charge of Constable Training School, Nathnagar, Bhagalpur. Principal, Constable Training Centre, Swapna G Meshram, an IPS officer of 2011 batch, has been appointed, SP, Banka, replacing Chandan Kushwaha, a 2010 batch IPS officer. Banka SP Chandan Kushwaha has been appointed Commandant, Homeguards, Patna, Bihar. The Home ( Police) Department issued a notification regarding these transfers and posting on December 18 itself.
