Patna : Bihar Government on December 17, 2018, appointed Sujit Kumar, an IPS officer of 2006 batch, as the SP, Sitamarhi. Sujit Kumar, who was waiting for posting, has replaced Vikas Berman, a 2008 batch IPS officer. Sitamarhi SP Berman has been appointed Commandant, BMP-5, Patna. The Home ( Police) department issued a notification to this effect on December 17 itself. Berman was appointed SP, Sitamarhi, on April 27, 2018.
Mohammad Ali Ansari, DSP, who was waiting for posting, has been appointed DSP, Traffic, Patna, while Mahesh Kumar, DSP, who too was waiting for posting, has been appointed DSP, Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission, Patna.
