Bagaha : Chankesia Devi, 25, wife of Sheoshankar Sahni of village Nadda Khekharia tola under Bhairoganj police station in Bagaha police district, was killed for dowry allegedly by her in-laws on December 9, 2018, night.
SHO, Bhairoganj police station, Ajit Kumar Sriwastava said that Chankesia Devi’s husband Sheoshankar Sahni has been arrested and was sent to Bagaha Sub-Jail on December 10, 2018. Marachhiya Devi, mother of the deceased, of village Pipariya under Yogapatti police station in West Champaran district had lodged a case with Bhairoganj police station in this connection.
