Patna : Altogether 544 miscreants were arrested in the last 24 hours in 11 districts in a special drive carried out on the direction of IG, Patna Zone, NH Khan,. Police arrested 101 criminals in Nalanda followed by 97 in Patna.
The arrests figure in Nawada stood at 35, Gaya 32, Jehanabad 21, Arwal 16, Aurangabad 63, Rohtas 37, Kaimur 21, Buxar 46 and Bhojpur district 75. Police seized 4,898 litres of countrymade liquor and IMFL, 35 trucks and tractors besides six bikes during the special drive.
