Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, arrested two drug peddlers and also seized 30 packets of Heroin and a motorcycle from their possession on December 8, 2018, near Gangi locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district.
The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Abhishek alias Sunny and Rajesh Chaudhary of village Praiya under Bihta police station in Patna district. Later, police sent them to jail.
The SHO, Ara Town police station, said that Abhishekh alias Sunny and Rajesh Chaudhary of village Praiya under Bihta police station purchased Heroin from one Jai Chand Paswan in Gangi locality under Town police station to sale the same in areas under Bihta police station. On December 8, 2018, police got information that some drug peddlers were seen in Gangi locality after which they conducted raids in the area. Seeing police, the drug peddlers tried to escape on their motorcycle but police chased and arrested them along with 30 packets of Heroin and a motorcycle.
