Muzaffarpur : Prohibition & Excise Department sleuths led by Excise Superintendent Deenbandhu intercepted a Pick-Up van at village Jagiria under Jaitpur police outpost under Saraiya Block in in Muzaffarpur district on December 7, 2018, and seized 80 cartons of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth about Rs 5 lakh. They also arrested a liquor smuggler.
The arrested liquor smuggler is being interrogated. Excise Superintendent Deenbandhu seized the Pick-Up van carrying 80 cartons of liquor on a secret information, sources said. Jaitpur is 30 km away from Muzaffarpur Town.
