Man kills elder brother, sister-in-law in land dispute at Patna village

Patna : Lakhan Yadav shot dead his elder brother Rambabu Yadav and his wife Sharda Devi at village Ghogra under Bihta police station in Patna district on November 27, 2018, afternoon, in a land dispute. Lakhan Yadav first shot at Rambabu and his wife and then attacked them with a sword. Bihta is 32 km away from Patna.

Police said that one Rambabu Yadav had land dispute with his younger brother Lakhan Yadav. On November 27 afternoon, when Rambabu and his wife Sharda Devi were working in the disputed plot, Lakhan reached there and fired at Rambabu and Sharda Devi and then attacked them with a sword killing them on the spot and fled away.
SHO, Bihta police station, Ranjit Kumar said that an FIR has been lodged based on the statement of deceased’s son Vikas Yadav. He said that raids were being conducted to arrest Lakhan.
