Prajnesh to clash with Emer in KPIT MSLTA challenger final

Patna : World No 110 in ATP rankings Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 29, and World No 132 Elias Ymer, 22, Sweden, will clash in the final of KPIT MSLTA challenger on November 24, 2018, at Pune.

Prajnesh, who won the ATP Challenger Bangalore on November 17, 2018, beat top seed and World No 102 Radu Albot, 29, Moldova, in a three-set thriller 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the semi-finals at Pune, Maharashtra, India, on November 23, 2018. Albot was all over Prajnesh, the 4th seed, in the first set but the India No 1 made a strong comeback and won the next two sets.

Emer beat World No 189 Brayden Schnur, 23, Canada, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the first semi-finals.
