Bhojpur DDC seeks report of inquiry into promotion of 61 teachers within 7 days

Ara : Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Bhojpur, Shashank Shubhankar, asked for the report of the inquiry ordered into the alleged irregular promotion of 61 school teachers as Headmasters and their subsequent within a week.  A social worker Bimal Kumar had recently lodged a strong protest with the DM, Bhojpur, Sanjeev Kumar, alleging that the 61 teachers had been promoted in an irregular manner.

Bimar Kumar had submitted a petition to Bhojpur DM Sanjeev Kumar alleging these 61 teachers had been promoted to the post of Headmasters illegally. He said that on the direction of Patna High Court, an inquiry was going on into the promotion and posting of Headmasters but some Headmasters, who got promotion and posting illegally, were allegedly trying to influence the inquiry committee members. He also produced some evidences before the DM in this connection.

The DM took it seriously and directed the DDC to look into the matter. The DDC on November 17, 2018, directed the committee comprising District Education Officer, ADM (establishment), senior ADM, and the District Programme Officer (DPO), secondary education, to submit the inquiry report with their recommendation within a week.
