Ara : Two persons including a woman were killed around 10 pm on November 16, 2018, when their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding three wheeler near Siyadih village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased were identified as Jai Prakash Sah, 40, son of Gariba Sah of Niranjanpur under Tarari police station, and his aunt-in-law (bua saas) Sumita Devi, wife of Surendra Sah of Bhulkua village under Piro police station in Bhojpur district. Police brought the bodies over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem.

SHO, Charpokhari police station, said that Jai Prakash Sah along with his aunt-in-law Sumita Devi was going to his relatives at village Kori under Sandesh police station to attend some rituals there on his motorcycle. When he reached near Siyadih village under Charpokhari police station, a speeding three- wheeler coming from opposite direction collided head-on with hisĀ  motorcycle killing him and Sumita Devi on the spot. Three passengers of the three- wheeler were also injured. Police rushed to the spot and seized the motorcycle and the three- wheeler. Police admitted the injured persons to the Saadar Hospital.
