Bagaha SDM urges Rlys to run trains slow between Bagaha – Valmikinagar Rd. Stations during Chhath

Bagaha : SDM, Bagaha in West Champaran district, Ghansyam Meena, in a communication to Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Samastipur, under East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, has requested him to run trains at slow speed between Bagaha and Valmikinagar Road railways stations on Narakatiaganj-Gorakhpur Rail section from 10 am on November 13, 2018, to 10 am on November 14, 2018, in view of Chhath festival.

SDM Meena has informed the DRM, Samastipur, that there are many Gandak Chhath ghats located near railway track between Bagaha and Valmikinagar Road stations on western side of Bagaha town, where the Chhath devotees gather in large numbers with their children crossing the unmanned gates and rail track. The trains should pass through the area whistling continuously, SDM Meena said.
