105 cans of adulterated Mustard oil seized at Ara, Pick-up van seized

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, seized 105 cans of adulterated Mustard Oil near Dhudhuan Mor under Ara Muffassil police station on November 8, 2018, night, and also seized a Pick-up van though no one could be arrested in this connection. An FIR has been lodged with Ara Muffassil police station in this regard.

Food Safety Officer Ajay Kumar said that he, on the direction of the SDO, conducted raids at Dhudhuan Mor under Ara Muffassil police station on November 8 night and seized 105 cans of adulterated Mustard Oil loaded on a Pick-up van. He said that the consignment was brought over from Bhabhua in Kaimur district to Ara and stickers of AG mark of Maharaja Company were pasted on the cans. He added that the seized oil seemed adulterated at first glance and a sample of the oil was  being sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory.
