Bangladesh 26/0 in 2nd innings in 1st test against Zimbabwe, need 295 runs to win

Patna : Bangladesh, who were all out for a paltry 143 runs in their first innings in the first test against Zimbabwe, need 295 to score 295 runs more in next two days to win the match with 10 wickets in hand. At stumps on day 3 on  November 5, 2018, Bangladesh were 26/0 with openers Litan Das and Imrul Kayes batting on 14 and 12 runs respectively.

Electing to bat after winning the toss, Zimbabwe had scored 282 in their first innings at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet, Bangladesh, with Sean Williams scoring 88, Captain Hamilton Masakadza 52, and Peter Moor an unbeaten 63. For Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam took 6/108 and Nazmul Islam 49.

Bangladesh scored 143 in their first innings with all-rounder Ariful Haque scoring an unbeaten 41 and wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahman scoring 31. Captain Mahmudullah was out without scoring. For Zimbabwe, Tendai Chatara took 3/19, Sikandar Raza 3/35, Kyle Jarvis 2/28, and sean Williams 1/5. Abu Zayed was run out.

Zimbabwe were 181 all out in their second innings on the third day with captain Hamilton Masakadza scoring 48, Sikandar Raza 25, Brendon Taylor 24, and Sean Williams 20. For Bangaladesh, Taijul Islam took 5/62 and Nazmul Islam 2/27. Taijul Islam has taken 11 wickets in this test.
