Bike borne criminals loot Rs 45,000 from farmer in Gopalganj

Patna: Motorcycle-borne criminals looted Rs  45,000 cash from a farmer after causing injury to him at Thawe Bazaar under Thawe police station  (PS)in Gopalganj district on November 1, 2018.  The injured farmer has been identified
as Mola Mian, a resident of Semra Purv Tola.
Mola Mian said that he had reached Central Bank of India located at Thawe Bazaar around 3.30 pm to withdraw cash. After
drawing Rs 45,000 from the bank, he kept the amount in a blue bag and moved towards a shop for purchasing mosquito repellent, he said and added as he was close to the shop, two bike borne youth wearing black helmets snatched the bag containing the cash from him.

“I caught hold of the bag though but was dragged to some distance by the bikers and was injured,” Mola Mian said adding that the bag slipped out his hand and the criminals sped away from there with the bag towards Sunderpatti. He immediately reached Thawe police station and informed the SHO about the incident.
