‘Namaste England’ proves a damp squib

Patna : ‘Namaste England’, a much hyped Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer film released on October 18, 2018, has proved to be a miserable flop. Made at a cost of about Rs 60 crore, the film could gross only about Rs 8. 4 crore in its first 8 days. The Vipul Shah directed film had earned about Rs 1.8 crore on its opening day. Akshay Kumar also appeared in a cameo in the film which also stars Aditya Seal.

`Namaste England’ was Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s second film, which came 6 years after their debut film ‘Ishqazaade’. Vipul Shah’s 2007 film ‘Nmaste London’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was a hit.
