Muzaffarpur : Altogether 61 persons suspected to be cases of Dengue were admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, during the past two weeks. So far, thirteen patients have been confirmed as cases of Dengue in Muzaffarpur district in North Bihar. Suspect cases of Dengue are being reported almost everyday in the district.
Superintendent, SKMCH, Dr S K Shahi, said the hospital is well equipped to treat dengue patients including free pathological and blood tests. Dr Shahi said that there was absolutely no cause to panic as Dengue patients were being transfused Platelets at the hospital. The Blood Separation Instrument is installed at the hospital, he said.
Meanwhile, Muzaffarpur DM Mohd Sohail has ordered for fogging in the district.
