Srikanth enters 2nd round of BWF French Open 2018

Patna : World No 6 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Kidambi Srikanth, India, 25, entered the second round of French Open 2018 badminton tournament on October 24, 2018. Srikanth, the fifth seed beat World No 22 Wong Wing Ki Vincent, 28, Hong Kong, 21-19, 21-13 in 42 minute in the first round at Stade Pierre De Coubertin, Paris, France.

French Open is the 21st tournament of 2018 BWF World Tour organised by French Badminton Federation. The winner of the singles title will get 11,000 points while the runner- up will get 9,350 points. The semi-finalists will get 7,700 points each. World No 3 Viktor Axelsen is not playing in the tournament.
