Tai Tzu Ying, Bingjiao reach SF of BWF Denmark Open

Patna : Top seed and World No 1 female shuttler in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Tai Tzu Ying, 24, Taiwan, entered the semi-finals of Denmark Open at Odense, Denmark, on October 19, 2018.

Reigning Asian Games champion Ying beat World No 4 Chen Yufei, 20, China, in a tough encounter 21-13, 12-21, 21-9 in 47 minute. Yufei though failed to put up a strong resistance in the third game. Ying now lead Yufei 10-0 head to head.

World No 8 HE Bingjiao, China, defeated World No 22 Cai Yanyan 21-13, 21-16 in 31 minute to reach the SF.
