Bagaha SDM cancels licence of 2 PDS dealers

Bagaha : SDM, Bagaha, Ghanshyam Meena, on September 4, 2018, cancelled licence of two Public Distribution Shop (PDS) dealers : Pashupat Pandey and Surya Prasad Chaudhry of Basuaria panchayat under Bagaha-1 block in West Champaran.

Sources said the SDM, after conducting separate inquiry into the allegations against the two PDS dealers, found that they had committed gross irregularities in distribution of grains and Kerosene Oil among consumers Below Poverty Line. The grains, Kerosene and other materials supplied by the State Government were sold in black market.
