23 persons arrested so far in connection with Bihia incident

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, arrested an absconder Babua alias Gunga, a deaf and dumb youth from village Siraji Tola under Bihia police station, on August 28, 2018, evening, in connection with disrobing and parading of a woman naked through the streets at Bihia on August 20, 2018.

SHO, Bihia police station, said that his face had figured in the video footage of stripping and parading of a woman naked and since then he was evading arrest. He said that Babua is deaf and dumb but very shrewd. The SHO further said that 23 persons had so far been arrested in Bihia case but three named accused were still at large.
