Patna : Shooter Shardul Vihan, 15, won Silver Medal in men’s Double Trap event in the 18th Asian Games at Jakarta-Palembang, Indonesia, on August 23, 2018. Vihan shot 73 to clinch Silver Medal. South Korea’s Shin Hyunwoo won Gold Medal with a score of 74.

Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore and ace shooter Abhinav Bindra have hailed Vihan’s feat. Shardul Vihan hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Shardul is a student of Class IX. India has so far won 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 9 Bronze Medals at the Asian Games.
