Man commits suicide by jumping off apartment in Buddha Colony

Patna : Munna Kumar, 33, committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of an apartment, Jayshree Complex, under Buddha Colony Police station, Patna, around 11 am on July 31, 2018. Security guard and locals rushed Munna to Paras HMRI, where he was declared dead. His relatives took the body to their native place, Bikram, in Patna district, and cremated him without informing the local police.

Police were informed about the incident around 2 pm. SHO, Buddha colony police station, said that Munna used to stay at Bikram and would occasionaly visit his brother Santosh Kumar, who lives in a flat at Jayshree Complex. One of Munna’s brothers is a builder. Munna’s father Krishnanand Singh told police that his son was mentally unsound and being treated at Ranchi.
