Police seize 4,637 bottles of IMFL in Bhojpur

Ara : Police, on a tiff off, conducted raids at village Makhdumpur under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on July 24, 2018, and seized 100 cartons of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) though the liquor smugglers escaped from the scene.

ASP Manjeet Kumar said that he got information that liquor smugglers had stored IMFL in large quantity at Makhdumpur and so he directed police to conduct raids there. He said a police team conducted raids at four houses at the village and seized 4,637 bottles of IMFL packed in 100 cartons. He said an FIR has been lodged under the Prohibition & Excise Act against the liquor smugglers.Raids are on to arrest them, the ASP said.
