Ara : Over three dozen members of National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalaya (MMMM), Ara, led by Anamika Kesari launched a cleanliness drive on July 19, 2018, at village Akhtiyarpur in Bhojpur district under the ‘Swachchh Bharat Greeshm Kaalin Internship—2018′. They also made the villagers aware of importance of keeping their village clean.
The NSS members swept the lanes and bylanes of the village and told the villagers about garbage management. They also held a meeting with the students of Upgraded Middle School, Akhtiyarpur, and told them about the benefits of washing hands before and after going to lavatories. Headmaster of the school, Kamdeo Kumar, other teachers, Jyoti, Swati, Pallavi, Ruchi, Priyadarshini, Kalyani Raj, Vijayalaxmi, Aditi Raj also participated in the programme
