Police SI dies in accident in Patna

Patna : Kamlesh Sharma, an SI Sigori police station in Patna district, was killed in a road accident when he was returning with a body from village Nijra under Sigori police station on July 17, 2018.

Shambhu Ram was shot dead in a land dispute with his brothers at the village on July 16, 2018, night. On getting information, a police team reached the village to bring the body. When police team led by SI Sharma was returning with the body on a jeep, a speeding pick-up van collided with it causing serious injuries to SI Kamlesh Sharma, who was sitting on front seat. A seriously injured SI was sent to Patna for treatment. He, however succumbed to his injuries mid-way.
