Patna: England beat India by 86 runs in the second ODI at Lord’s, London, on July 14, 2018, night, riding on a brilliant 113 by Joe Roout and a quickfire unbeaten 50 by pacer David Willey to level the three-match ODI series 1-1.

Opting to bat after winning the toss, England made 322/6 in 50 overs. India were all out for 236 in 50overs with captain Virat Kohli scoring 45, Suresh Raina 46, Shikhar Dhawan 36, and M S Dhoni 37. Hardik Pandya made 21 while opener Rohit Sharma made 15. Indian batsmen could not hit even a single six in the match compared to 5 by England batsmen.

For England, paceer Liam Plunkett too 4/46 in 10 overs while David Willey took 2/48. Spinner Adil Rashid took 2/38 while Mark Wood and Moeen Ali took one wicket each.
