Woman arrested for killing hubby in Buxar

Buxar : Police arrested a married woman Chintu Devi and sent her to jail on July 9, 2018, in connection with murder of her husband Bechan Rajbhar. Police are searching for her lover and younger brother of her husband Chhotu Rajbhar.

SHO, Dumraon Town police station in Buxar district, Shiv Narayan Ram, said that Bechan Rajbhar, 40, son of Budhan of village Khirauli, was daily wage earner and used to go out of village frequently. In his absence, his  wife allegedly developed illicit relation with her brother-in-law, Chhotu Rajbhar.

When Bechan Rajbhar came to know about their illicit relation, he tried to persuade his wife not to do such thing but she did not yield. Later, Bechan Rajbhar caught Chhotu Rajbhar and Chintu Devi red handed in compromising position and beat up his wife and also broke her her mobile, the SHO said. On June 9, 2018, when Bechan Rajbhar was sleeping in his room, Chintu Devi with the help of her lover allegedly killed her husband and also lodged an FIR with police regarding the murder.

The SHO said that Chhotu Rajbhar lived with his maternal uncle at village Bhadsari under Bagen police station. He also had land at Khirauli village and so visited the village frequently and developed relation with Chintu Devi.
