Ara : Santu Kumar alias Nilambar Kumar, son of Ram Bachan Singh of village Basauri under Sikarhatta police station in Bhojpur district, was killed two others were injured when a speeding truck dashed his motorcycle near village Lahari Tiwaridih under Piro police station on July 6, 2018, night.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. SHO, Piro police station, said that Santu Kumar alias Nilambar Kumar along with two youth was going to his village Basauri from Piro on his bike. Whe he reached between Lahari Tiwaridih and Manaini villages on Piro-Mopati main road, a speeding truck dashed his bike. The motorcycle skid on the road and all the three youth fell on the road. In the meantime, another speeding truck crushed Santu Kumar to death and escaped.
