Dimitov, however, hammered 12 Aces in the match to 9 by Wawrinka. But, Dimitov also committed 4 double faults to just 2 by Wawrinka.
World No 27 Phillipp Kohlschreiber, Germany, also entered the second round of the tournament defeating World No 83 Evgeny Donskoy, 28, Russia, in the first round.
