Ara : Inner Wheel Club of Aranya was given Charter on June 24, 2018, night, at a meeting held in  Mansarowar Colony, Ara. District Chairperson, Inner Wheel Club of Aryan, Shweta Singh, nominated Punita Singh as the president of the club.

Aarti Devi has been nominated as Vice-president, Ritu Ragini, Secretary, and Gudia Pandey,  Treasurer and installed them on their posts after giving them lapel pins. Besides, a 12- Member committee was also formed. The Inner Wheel Club of Aryan came into existence with the concerted efforts of Dr Deepak Kumar, district president, Rotary Club of Ara Central, and Sangeeta Verma, district president, Inner Wheel Club of Patna.

Dr Deepak said that women were not allowed in the Rotary club before 1989 so Margret Golding formed Inner Wheel Club for the women in the year 1924 at Manchester at par with the Rotary International with a view to develop fraternity, friendship, service to humanity and international understanding and added that at present the Inner Wheel Clubs with one lakh of their members is working in 103 countries in the world.
