Police fail to arrest Barhara RJD MLA Saroj Yadav

Ara : Bhojpur police had to return dsiappointed from village Keshavpur under Barhara police station on June 20, 2018, as RJD MLA Saroj Yadav gave them a slip and escaped from the village.

Polie officials along with heavy police force had gone to Keshavpur under Barahara police station to arrest RJD MLA Saroj Yadav after the court issued arrest warrant against him for allegedly  threatening Assistant Engineer (AE), Flood Control Division, Water Resources Department, Ram Nivas Ram with dire consequences on cellphone earlier. As the MLA got information that police were comming to arrest him, he slipped and escaped from the village.

The MLA had threatened AE Ram with dire consequences as the latter had refused to yield to his dictate about two months ago. AE Ram had lodged an FIR against the MLA with Nawada police station, Ara, in this connection.
