Araria : Six children, all belonging to village Doriare under Baunsi police station in Araria district, died when a hired Scorpio they were travelling by with 4 adult family members fell into a roadside pond at village Sukhsena under Tarabadi police station in Araria district at 7 am on June 19, 2018. They were returning to their village Doriare after attending a marriage at village Chikni under Kursakanta police station in Araria district, according to SHO, Tarabadi police station.
The SHO said that the Scorpio driver escaped from the place of occurrence after the incident. Sukhsena is around 13 km away from ArariaTown. The SHO said that of the 6 deceased children, two were siblings.
