DG, SSB, inaugurates administrative building of Sector HQs, Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : DG, SSB, Rajnikant Mishra, inaugurated the new administrative building and mess of Umanagar based SSB sector headquarters in Muzaffarpur district on June 15, 2018. DG Mishra said that apart from protecting the border, the SSB was also further strengthening relations between India and Nepal.

Mishra was given a Guard of Honour by the SSB jawans before the inaugural function. Mishra also interacted with senior CRPF and Bihar police officials including Muzaffarpur Zone IG Sunil Kumar and range DIG Anil Kumar Singh. SSB IG Sanjay Kumar and DIG, SSB, M S Padda, were also present on the occasion. He also inspected the SSB sector headquarters and then left for inspection of Indo-Nepal border areas.

The construction of the administrative building started in 2012 and has been completed at a cost of Rs 12 crore. The then DG, SSB, Archana Ramanujam, had inaugurated the barrack for the jawans and other buildings in 2017.
