Patna : West Indies were 131/4 in their second innings against Sri Lanka at stumps on day 3 of the first cricket test at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad, on June 8, 2018, with Kieran Powell batting on 64 with 6 fours and 2 sixes and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich, who had scored an unbeaten 125 in the first innings, unbeaten on 11. Openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Devon Smith were out for 16 and 20 runs respectively. Shai Hope scored 1 run while Roston Chase made 12. West Indies are leading by 360 runs.

For Sri Lanka,pacer Lahiru Kumara, who had taken 4 wickets in West Indies’ first innings, took 2/28. Suranga Lakmal and spinner Rangana Herath took one wicket each.

West Indies did not enforce the follow on though Sri Lanka were all out for 185 in their first innings trailing by 229 runs. West Indies had declared their first innings on 414/8 in 154 overs.
