Woman shot dead by 2 sons for pension amount at Rohtas village

Sasaram : Two brothers shot dead their mother at village Bhishada under Amjhour police station in Rohtas district on May 24, 2018, evening, for her family pension amount. Police seized a double barrel countrymade pistol from the spot and brought the body over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Police arrested both the brothers Chandrashekhar Singh and Munmun Singh in connection.

An FIR was lodged with Amjhour police station in this connection on the statement of the deceased’s daughter. SDPO, Dehri-on-Sone, Anwar Zawed Ansari said that Chandrashekhar Singh and Munmun Singh, sons of late Kesari Singh, a retired teacher, quarreled for pension of their mother. On May 24, 2018, night, both the brothers quarreled among themselves and also with their mother for pension and later shot her dead, the SDPO said. The SDPO said that their father Kesari Singh, fed up with their behaviour, had committed suicide by consuming poison a year ago.
