Sitamarhi : A police team headed by SHO, Sitamarhi Town Police Station, Shashi Bhushan Singh, arrested notorious criminal Mithilesh Pathak near Sahu Chowk on May 22, 2018, night. He was wanted in several cases of heinous crimes including the murder of professor Anita Jaiswal in August 2017.
Anita Jaiswal was shot dead in her kitchen while preparing breakfast in the morning. Mithilesh, a resident of village Harpur-Pipara under Majorganj block in Sitamarhi, is a wanted criminal in Sitamarhi, East Champaran and Sheohar districts. He was absconding since August 2017, according police sources. According to Sitamarhi SP Vikas Berman, Mithilesh Pathak’s accomplishes would be arrested soon.
