Patna : Pro tem Speaker K G Bopaiah, a four term MLA, will conduct the floor test in Karnataka Assembly at 4 pm on May 19, 2018. The Supreme Court on May 19 allowed him to conduct the floor test. The entire process will be telecast live. It is a setback to the Congress – Janata Dal ( Secular) combine which had challenged the appointment of Bopaiah as pro tem Speaker and had approached the Supreme Court. But, the BJP won the Pro tem Speaker war.
