Teenage girl kidnapped in Buxar

Buxar : A teenage girl was kidnapped by a youth with a view to marrying her at Dumraon under the same police station in Buxar district. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Dumrao police station against five persons :  Raj Kasera, his father Birendra Kasera, his brothers Munna Kasera and Ankit Kasera, and his mother on May 18, 2018, but police have neither recovered the girl nor have arrested the accused.

SHO, Dumraon police station, said that a student of Class VIII of Bhandhan Patawa locality under Dumraon police station had gone to her school on May 8, 2018, but did not return. She was allegedly kidnapped on way to her school but the family members remained silent due to fear of social stigma, the SHO said. Her family members requested the named accused to free the girl but they did not respond, her father lodged a named FIR with police. The SHO said that police were searching for the accused and efforts were on to recover the girl.
