Ara : One of the key witnesses in the then BJP State Vice-President Bisheshwar Ojha murder case, Kamal Kishore Mishra of Sonbarsha village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district, has demanded security from Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar alleging he has been threatened with dire consequence by the accused.

Some armed persons had shot dead Bisheshwar Ojha, son of Raj Kishore Ojha,  a resident of Ojhawalia village under Karnamepur Police Outpost in Bhojpur district, on February 12, 2016, evening near Sonbarsha village under Shahpur police station when he was going to attend a marriage at Barisawan village. His driver Rajesh Kumar Ojha, Kamaldeo Ojha, husband of Devkuli Mukhia, were also injured in the incident.

A named FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station against seven persons including Brajesh Mishra, Haresh Mishra, sons of Shivjeet Mishra of Sonbarsha village who is in Ara jail,  Umakant Mishra, Tunna Mishra, Basant Mishra of Sonbarsha and Pappu Singh of Ishwarpura on the statement of  Rajnath Ojha, nephew of Bisheshwar Ojha. Police arrested Harendra Singh alias Bhuar Singh of Ishwarpura and forwarded him jail the same day while Umakant Mishra, Tunna Mishra, Basant Mishra and Pappu Mishra surrendered before the court under mounting police pressure and were sent to jail but Brajesh Mishra is still at large.

Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that bodyguards were provided earlier to all the witnesses who had applied for it. He said that Kamal Kishore Mishra had on May 17, 2018, complained  that he was threatened with dire consequences and urged him to enhance his  security.

  1. I’m not sure exactly why but this weblog is loading incredibly slow for me.
    Is anyone else having this problem or is it a problem on my end?
