Liquor smuggler arrested with 91 bottles of IMFL in Bhojpur

Ara : Police, on a tip off, arrested a liquor smuggler Dheeraj Kumar Yadav alias Neeraj Kumar along with 91 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) besides seizing a car near Hari Tola under Piro police station in Bhojpur district on May 16, 2018, night. The arrested liquor smuggler was sent him to jail after lodging a named FIR under the Prohibition and Excise Act. Two liquor smugglers escaped from the scene.

SHO, Piro police station, Janamjai Rai said that police saw an Alto car parked on the roadside on Piro-Jagdishpur main road under Piro police station near Hari Tola Mor. Seeing police, the driver of the car tried to escaped with the car. But, police chased and intercepted the car and arrested one of the liquor smugglers Dheeraj Kumar Yadav alias Neeraj Kumar, son of Vindhyachal Yadav of Hunkar Tola under Piro police station.
