Bagaha : A  Legal Literacy Club for students started functioning from Devi Mangal Academy, Bagaha, from May 16, 2018. It was inaugurated by West Champaran District & Sessions Judge cum president of District Legal Services Authority Abhimanyu Lal Srivastava.

DJ Srivastava said the Legal Literacy Club for students has been established with an objective of spreading awareness and knowledge about the legal rights and duties and to give suggestions to the poor and the needy for various problems facing them and for providing legal suggestions. It would also craete awareness about prevention of child marriage, elimination of dowry, human trafficking, corruption, and consumer consciousness.

Durgesh Mani Tripathi, 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge, Bagaha, Yogesh Sharan Tripathi, Secretary, District Llegal Services Authority, Brajesh Kumar Ojha, Regional Deputy Director, Education, Muzaffarpur, were prominent among those present on the occasion. Principal of the Academy Subhash Prasad welcomed the guests.
