Patna : Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets in the 46th match of IPL 2018 at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, on May 13, 2018, night, riding on a hurricane 100 not out by opener Ambati Rayudu and 57 by his opening partner Shane Watson. CSK captain M S Dhoni remained not out on 20 with a four and a six. Suresh Raina was out for two.

Rayudu made an unbeaten hundred in 62 ball hitting 7 fours and 7 sixes while Watson was run out after scoring 57 in 35 ball hitting 5 fours and 3 sixes. Rayudu and Watson were involved in a 134 run partnership for the first wicket.

Rayudu’s century was the second century by an Indian batsman in the IPL 2018. Rishabh Pant of Delhi Daredevils (DD) was the first Indian batsman to score a century recently. Chris Gayle and Shane Watson are the two foreign players to score tons in the IPL this season.

CSK had won the toss but opted to bowl. SRH scored 179/4 in 20 overs with opener Shikhar Dhawan scoring 79 in 49 ball with 10 fours and 3 sixes while captain Kane Williamson made 51 in 39 ball with 5 four and 2 sixes. In reply, CSK made 180/2 in 19 overs. SRH have now 18 points from 12 matches while CSK have 16 points from 12 matches in IPL 2018.
