Nadal, Federer, remain World No 1 & 2 in ATP rankings

Patna : Rafael Nadal, 31, Spain, Roger Federer, 36, Switzerland, and Alexander Zverev, 21, Germany, stay World Number 1, 2, and 3, respectively with 8,770, 8,670, and 5,195 points respectively in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings released on May 7, 2018.

Griggor Dimitrov, 26, Bulgaria, has jumped one place to be ranked World Number 4 while Marin Cilic, 29, Croaia, has slipped one place to be ranked Number 5 after his earlit in ATP Istanbul Open. Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, is ranked 20 jumping one place while Milos Raonic, 27, Canada, has jumped four places and is ranked 24. Philipp Kohlschreiber, 34, Germany, has jumped 6 placed and ranked 28th in the latest ATP rankings.

Joao Sousa, 29, Portugal, has jumped 20 places and is ranked 48 in the ATP rankings with 1,035 points while Francs Tiafoe, 20, USA, has jumped 8 places to be ranked 56th with 973 points. Malek Jazeri, Tunisia, 34, has jumped 16 places to be ranked 62 in the ATP rankings with 862 points after reaching final of Istanbul Open while Jeremy Chardy, 31, France, has jumped 13 places and ranked 74.

Taro Daniel, 25, Japan, has jumped 32 places to be ranked 82nd in the ATP rankins with 696 points after winning Istanbul Open singles title.

But, Yuki Bhambri, 25, India, has slipped one place to ranked 86th with 688 points. Ramkumar Ramnathan, 23, India, has slipped 4 places and is ranked 124 with 454 points.  But, Sumit Nagal, 20, India, has jumped one placed is ranked 224 with 260 points. Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 28, India, has also jumped one place is ranked 175th with 319 points.
