SRH beat DD by 7 wickets in IPL at Hyderabad

Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Delhi Daredevil (DD) by 7 wickets in the 36th match of IPL 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on  May 5, 2018, riding on an unbeaten 12 ball 27 with 2 fours and 2 sixes by allrounder Yusuf Pathan and 32 in 30 balls with a six by captain Kane Williomson, New Zealand.

SRH have now 14 points from 9 matches in IPL 2018. CSK also have 14 points but from 10 matches. DD have 6 points from 10 matches. KKR have 10 points from 9 matches while KXIP have 10 points from 8 matches

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, DD had scored 163/5 in 20 overs with opener Prithvi Shaw scoring 65 in 36 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. SRH scored 164/3 in 19.5 overs.

SRH opener Alex Hales, England, made 45 in 31 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes while his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan made 33 in 20 balls with 2 fours and a six. Thy were involved in a 76 run partnership for the first wicket. Manish Pandey made 21 in 17balls with 2 fours. He got out when the team score was 132 in 17.1 overs.

For DD, spinner Amit Mishra took 2/19 in 4 overs while pacer Liam Plunkett, England, took 1/27 in 4 overs. Avesh Khan leaked 47 runs in his 3 overs without taking a wicket. Pacer Daniel Chritian, Australia, gave away 37 runs in 3.5 overs but did not take any wicket. Trent Boult, New Zealand, gave away 30 runs in 4 overs.
